It looks like Steph Curry and Sean “Diddy” Combs will not be the next owners of the Carolina Panthers.
Back in 2017, Panthers owner Jerry Richardson announced he would sell the team. Then Diddy publicly announced his plans to put his name in the running for the team. “I will be the best NFL owner that you can imagine.” He said. Steph Curry also said he wanted in.
Diddy and Stephen went in as partners along with Billionaire Michael Rubin for the team. However, the bidding has reached an all-time high of $2.5 billion. But Michael Rubin dropped out, which would make the Panthers the highest-selling sports franchise in history.
ESPN reports Rubin is still interested as long as the price is right.
