The Brooklyn rap legend has taken it upon himself to push a documentary that addresses political and social injustices. Now the the documentary “Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story” will be screened at Tribeca Film Festival.
The documentary is based on the book “Rest In Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin” written by the parents of the child that was murdered by George Zimmerman.
The death of Trayvon Martin shed light on the various social injustices and police brutality cases within the United States specifically around the large number of deaths of young black men.
