T.I IS SAID TO BE PRODUCING NEW MUSICAL DRAMA!
The success of hip-hop musical dramas like Empire has gained several worthy opponents. Now the door is wide open and the demand for similar content is heavy. Grammy-winning rapper T.I looks to contend with FOX’s drama with a show of his own!
According to ‘Deadline’, T.I will produce, star, and curate the soundtrack for Glow Up, a hip-hop musical drama.
The story follows an all-girl high school musical group at an underfunded Los Angeles school. T.I is producing the movie alongside Robbie Brenner, who is one of the producers of the Sundance and award-winning film Burden. PepsiCo’s League, Kevin McKeon, and T.i’s production partner Brian Sher are all attached to produce as well.
