DIDDY HAS A MOUTH FULL CATCH IT HERE

It’s too easy to be a rapper now. Anybody can pick up a laptop, Pro Tools, a mic, and an interface, and that’s it. There’s so much music on the internet, that it would take several lifetimes just to listen to everything uploaded to sites like Soundcloud. Apparently, Bad Boy creator and legendary artist-curator Diddy pays attention to the game, and he fears that the excess of music now may hurt the culture.

Diddy took to social media to post a video where he opines about the culture. So many people rapping right now, I love it. It is literally like too much,” starts the mogul. “It’s a lot to take in every day, everybody saying the same s***, in like different ways. I’m not knocking nobody’s dream. I just don’t want the culture to get diluted. Where it gets so mass produced that it doesn’t mean anything. Artists have to be special,” explains Diddy.

“Every artist needs to be unique in they own right. If you ‘gon be in this game, be great, cause you can also be part of the noise,” continues Diddy. The caption on the Instagram video reads, “don’t want the culture to get diluted. Artists have to be special, you have to be unique. Don’t just be apart of the noise. Be great. A MESSAGE FROM L O V E.”
