IT IS NOT LOOKING GOOD FOR NIGERIA.
The Nigerian government has confirmed that 110 girls are missing after suspected Boko Haram militants attacked a school in the northeast of the country last week.
Boko Haram, whose name translates as “Western education is forbidden” in the Hausa language, has killed more than 20,000 people and forced 2 million to flee their homes in a violent insurgency that began in 2009.
Yobe state government said dozens of girls from the Government Science and Technical College in Dapchi, had been rescued by the military, but a day later a statement said that the girls were unaccounted for.
This kidnapping is the largest kidnapping since Boko Haram kidnapped over 270 girls from their school in Chibok, which was almost 4 years ago.
