A song writer by the name of Leroy Mitchell A.K.A Prince Phillip Mitchell wrote the single in 1970. According to Prince, both Solange song, “Fuck the industry” and Kanye’s song “Everything I am” includes samples of his work that was not approved by him.
He is Suing for damages and wants both artist to stop performing his songs and to have them removed from airplay.
