HIS RESPONSE INSIDE!

Someone by the name of Jean Paul is alleging that he and Ray J discussed “firing up a business to market electric scooter bikes” back in 2015. Paul is claiming that Ray’s “celebrity” could be helpful in pushing the scooter to the masses.

Paul claims in the $30 million suit, Ray agreed to become both an investor and an endorser. This agreement helped Paul launch the business, only to later be “shocked” by Ray J “secretly” launching a competing scooter-based business. Paul, for what it’s worth, is reportedly a self-described “trendsetter, nature lover, and bike aficionado.”

Of course, Ray J isn’t staying silent on the matter. His manager, David Weintraub told the website, “Scoot-E-Bike is 100% owned, financed, trademarked, marketed and promoted ” by Ray. Weintraub maintains that no contracts were signed and no deals were formally made. In fact, he is saying Paul is just trying to come up off of Ray’s success with the product.

Last year, Fox Business reports that Ray J closed a $31 million deal with Cowboy Wholesale to distribute the scooters. The Scoot-E-Bike is completely electric powered and goes as fast as 20 miles an hour. It sells for $1200 on Ray J’s website.
