SHOTS FIRED… DETAILS INSIDE!
On Tuesday afternoon, a woman was shot in the arm in a South Side Chicago neighborhood. Ironically enough, it was live streamed.
The victim was broadcasting on Facebook Live while she argued with a woman sitting in a car in the Parkway Gardens neighborhood. The situation quickly escalated when the other woman in the video pulled out a gun and fired, hitting the victim.
This shooting has been circulating via social media, and Chicago detectives now have the Facebook video. As of Tuesday evening, police identified the shooter, but did not identify the male who accompanied her.
The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital and her condition was listed as stable.
Chief of police, Anthony Guglielmi, said to press “What I can say is we believe this to be a domestic related incident between two individuals that know each other. We do not believe there is a threat to the public as this stemmed from an earlier interaction between the two of them.”
