Yesterday, there were speculations about Joe Budden being fired from the ‘Everyday Struggle’ show. Budden later elaborated on the topic via a series of tweets, referring to “internal chaos” as the reason why he has been m.i.a. Now, Complex has released an official statement confirming that Budden’s contract will not be renewed and he is no longer a part of the “Everyday Struggle” cast.
“Joe Budden will not be returning as a host on Everyday Struggle in 2018,” Complex said. “The show will be back in the New Year with all new episodes and guests. We wish Joe all the best and thank him for a great 2017.” They further elaborated on the statement and said, “We love and respect him; we believe he’s terrific but the reality is, we couldn’t reach an agreement.”
From what was said in his tweets earlier, Budden mentioned that he and Complex weren’t able to reach a mutual agreement on renewing his contract. The ironic part about this is that Quavo and Lil Yachty dropped the video for “Ice Tray” yesterday morning. The video clowns Budden as well as the other members of the ‘Everyday Struggle’ cast.
