Meek Mill has been sentenced to 2-4 years in prison…
A Philadelphia judge has sentenced rapper Meek Mill to 2-4 years in a state prison for a probation violation. Meek Mill has a nearly ten year old gun and drug case that was used as grounds for the violation. Judge Brinkley also cited a failed drug test and failure to comply with a court order that restricts his travel outside of the state. This sentence came to a surprise to prosecutors who actually recommended that Meek not be jailed for the violations since he has been off drugs for over 10 months now and has complied with most of his probation requirements. Meeks lawyer has planned to appeal the Judges decision. Lets not forget about Meeks arrest at an airport in St.Louis for the altercation that took place with two airport employees back in March. Also Meek was arrested for reckless endangerment while on his motorcycle back in August in New York City. He full-filled all the requirements related to these charges but if he doesn’t get his act together his lawyers appeal may be no help.
