Cam Newton has been catching a lot of heat after he made a comment about women during a press conference. The Carolina Panthers quarterback told Jourdan Rodrigue, he found it “funny to hear a female talk about routes.” Newton has lost his relationship with Dannon regarding to the comment he made during the press. Newton released a apology video over social media stating that his behavior was extremely unacceptable.
Newton said, “After careful thought, I understand that my word choice was extremely disrespectful and degrading to women. And to be honest, that was not my intentions,” he also said, “And if you are a person who took offense to what I said, I sincerely apologize to you.” Newton is aware that his behavior was unacceptable because it sets a bad example for his two young daughters and hope that everyone can learn from his mistake and to not be like him but be better than him.
