THE FALCONS LOST 23-17 After a win against the Detroit Lions, Falcon fans were hopeful for this new season.

This past Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, however, they walked away with a loosing score of 23-17 against the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills won 13 of their points off of turnovers.

In the third quarter, Falcons’ quarterback Matt Ryan lost control of his throw, giving the opposite team the chance to return it 52 yards for a touchdown. Ryan later threw a deep, jump ball to Taylor Gabriel, which ended up in the hands of Micah Hyde of the Buffalo Bills. Not too far after that, A pass that Ryan intended to go to Nick Williams was tipped and picked off.

“We like to work as hard as we possibly can to try and not make those things happen. You know, we all make mistakes at certain points. I certainly have made a ton of mistakes throughout my career,” Ryan commented.

“It’s disappointing. We’re better than that. I’m better than that, from an offensive standpoint in terms of taking care of the ball. We gotta make better decisions. I do, to give ourselves a better chance to win games. It’s tough to overcome,” Ryan said, “It was a little too much to overcome.”

Hopefully our team takes this loss and uses it for improvement. Come on Falcons, let’s make it back to the Superbowl, and take the W!
