The NFL made a statement addressing the alleged deal for Jay-Z to perform at the 2018 Super Bowl Half-Time since that deal was rumored to have been turned down.
Now it has been confirmed that the league has been working to finalize an agreement with Justin Timberlake.
Neither the NFL or Timberlake have made a statement on the deal is actually happening, but fans of the soulful 36-year-old R&B artist are hopeful.
