Many celebrities and athletes have been donating to the Hurricane Harvey relief after Kevin Hart started his challenge a few days ago and now Tyler Perry is joining in.
Tyler Perry has donated $1Million to Houston and even Joel Osteen’s Church!
Pastor Joel Osteen received a lot of backlash over not opening up his megachurch for shelter but in Perry’s interview he said that he spoke to Osteen on the phone and declared that what happened initially with Osteen’s church was not the case. Perry also said that he would be giving $250,000 to Osteen’s Lakewood Church for supplies.
Perry said he is going to make sure that the money will get to the people who are in need of it.
