Hurricane Harvey is now moving towards Louisiana.
According to CNN Harvey came ashore the Texas-Louisiana boarder on Wednesday night. Harvey hit Lake Charles, in Southwest Louisiana with rain up to 6-10 inches. No worries though, because the LSU Agcenter facility opened a 2,000-bed shelter Aug. 30th for the Texans who were put out of their homes. According to The National Hurricane Center “Ongoing life-threatening floods will continue to happen in the southeast area.”
The death toll has been updated to 37 people so far and missing people are still yet to be counted. Please pray for all these family’s as Hurricane Harvey is now headed towards the North East. The hurricane has downgraded from a tropical storm and is predicted to hit the following states below
- Thursday Night = Northern Mississippi
- Friday Morning = Tennesse
- Friday Night = Kentucky
