According to Observer, Robyn’s Clara Lionel Foundation has hooked up with Ofo to provide free bicycles to the young girls of Malawi.
What do bikes have to do with education you ask?
Well, the east African country has an EXTREMELY high drop-out rate and much of that is due to the fact that children can’t always get to their schools safely. Only 8% of the students in Malawi currently finish secondary school, this bicycle program is an effort to improve those stats through a practical means.
