Police said there were four vehicles stolen and six to eight hit-and-runs throughout the Norcross, Tucker and Duluth areas. One of the cars stolen was a Gwinnett County patrol vehicle. It has been recovered. The suspect crashed at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard at Campus Drive. Police said an officer performed a PIT maneuver to stop the driver.Police said the driver had an outstanding warrant. Peachtree Industrial Boulevard southbound is shut down. Only one lane of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard northbound is open. Police said to expect significant delays and seek alternate routes.
