O.J GOT THE JUICE
O.J. Simpson recently was granted parole and could be out of prison as soon as October 1, 2017. With his release approaching soon, many are coming up with ways to capitalize on his newfound freedom. Now, word of a pop-up museum with the former football player’s life on display has arrived.  According to the NY Daily News, the Coagula Curatorial Gallery located in the Chinatown section of Los Angeles will be holding the pop-up museum. Adam Papagan, the museum curator said “The museum is about the phenomenon associated with [Simpson]; not about him. Papagan went on to say that if O.J. had not been tied to the murders, he would not have a museum about him, and that “he’d be just another washed up football player.” Papagan noted the goal of the pop-up museum is not to fetishize or exploit criminal acts but to point out how obsessed our culture can be, with an odd spectacle like the O.J. case.” The museum is also set to feature a tribute to Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman, victims of the alleged 1994 murder that sparked the infamous case.
