PnB Rock is finally part of the platinum club, as the Philadelphia native has officially landed his first platinum plaque. According to the RIAA, the 2017 XXL Freshman‘s hit single, “Selfish,” which was released under Atlantic Records and Empire, has moved over 1 million units as of July 7, 2017.
The “Stacks Up” entertainer released “Selfish,” produced by Needlz and Donut, back in June of 2016, so the platinum status comes a little over a year since it initially dropped for his strong fan base. Since then, the track has become a huge commercial success, peaking at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which helped land him a spot amongst our XXL Freshman class this summer.
