PAUL GEORGE TO WARRIORS?
The source told ESPN that those talks ended between Golden State and Indiana when the Warriors denied the offer.
In a recent appearance on SportsCenter, Paul George spoke with ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and said that although he enjoys getting to team up with Russell Westbrook and competing against the Warriors, he still would have looked forward to joining them.
“I would’ve looked forward to it, of just being in a good situation and a chance to compete for a championship,” he said. “But it didn’t happen. It’s still fun to team up with a special talent and have a chance to compete against that team.”
“Yeah, I think that would’ve been the Chris Paul-to-L.A. situation where they denied that trade,” George said with a laugh.
