COOKING UP SOME POSITIVITY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Former Crip member Malachi Jenkins and former blood member Roberto Smith were tired of running the streets and being on the worst side of the law. Thanks to a mutual friend between the two, they met and were able to get along despite their gang involvements.
Th idea sparked after Jenkins, also known as Chef Spanky got instagram famous from posting pictures of his dishes on Instagram. Him and Roberto decided to team together and create Trap Kitchen LA.
