During Monday’s Dan Le Batard Show, Dan read the disparaging tweet before unloading on the person who sent it. A tweeter writes in … “Hey fat face, can you teach your father English please?’
“That one happens all the time. My father came to this country not speaking any English. He’s got a Masters degree in industrial engineering. He is doing television and radio with me in his second language. He’s smarter than you are.”
The 72-year-old Gonzalo, known as “Papi,” left Cuba as a teenager. He learned English and went on to have a successful career before joining his son as a broadcaster in 2011.
