In case you haven’t heard yet or live under a rock, 3 generations of hip hop just released new albums. ATL legend Big Boi, trapstar 2 Chainz, and one of the hottest in the game right now Young Thug dropped new music. 2 Chainz ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’, Big Boi’s ‘Boomiverse’, and Young Thugs ‘Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls’ (E.B.B.T.G) all have completely different sounds.
Thug’s album is melodic as he stretches his vocals with an album produced by Drake, London On Da Track and Wheezy. On the 14-track album, inspired by his fiancé’ features artists Snoop Dogg, Lil Durk, Future, Jacquees and Millie Go Lightly, who is a London-based singer. Where as ‘Boomiverse’ gives you a classic Atlanta sound with a new twist featuring Killer Mike, Jeezy, Snoop, Gucci, and Sleepy Brown to name a few. Lastly 2 Chainz killing it with it with the bangers featuring Nicki, Travis Scott, Gucci Mane and with the hit single “It’s a Vibe” gives that upbeat new Atlanta tempo. But of course everyone has to listen for themselves to really be able to judge.
