ARRESTED FOR GUN AND DRUG CHARGES
Previous NBA player Sebastian Telfair was captured Sunday on charges of weapons and weed ownership, as indicated by the New York Police Department. Telfair was pulled over at a movement stop in Brooklyn.
Telfair, 32, was captured with another man, Jami Thomas, 18, after police discovered three stacked guns, a self loading rifle, ammo, a ballistic vest and weed inside the vehicle. Telfair was the driver. They were pulled over for being stopped unlawfully on a middle without their lights on. The two men were charged in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Sunday night and hung on bond.
Telfair, a first-round draft select of secondary school in 2004 in the wake of being named USA Mr. Ball, was a secondary school wonder who postured on the front of SLAM Magazine nearby LeBron James when the two were built up to change the diversion. While James has won three titles and joined the open deliberation as most noteworthy ever, Telfair’s expert vocation was disappointing in view of the towering desires.
Telfair, the cousin of Stephon Marbury, played for the Portland Trailblazers, Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns and Toronto Raptors before completing his playing vocation in China in 2014.
