Kevin Hart opened up in his new book I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons admitting to dealing with DUI and domestic violence during his marriage to ex-wife Torrei Hart. Torrei Hart, the mother of his two children Hendrix and Heaven, was with Kevin during his climb to success. Hart says that him and Torrei’s on-again, off-again relationship wasn’t just unstable — it was violent.
Kevin Hart explains in his book that his marriage to Torrei became very hostile and some incidents resulted in spending a night in jail until he realized it was time to go their separate ways.
He writes in his memoir, “Brick by brick, I’d built an unstable house with Torrei, one that was doomed to collapse,” He explains, “But the experience enabled us to build great homes afterwards for our kids, our partners and ourselves.”
