According to the Gaurdian Sean Paul said, I think at the time when [One Dance] was popping off, it would have been good for him to actually put accolades towards the whole culture.” He also added, “it is a sore point when people like Drake or Bieber or other artists come and do Dancehall oriented music but don’t credit where dancehall came from..”
