Memphis Ash says Lil Yachty stole his lyrics!
Memphis Ash claims that Lil Yachty’s track “Peek-A-Boo” is a rip off of his record “Pikachu” solely because Ash rhymed “Pikachu” with “Peek-A-Boo”.
According to TMZ, Memphis Ash’s lawyers sent cease and desist letters to Yachty with claims that he stole Memphis Ash hook and verse. TMZ states Ash lawyers gave Yachty 10 days to pay Ash the royalties he feels he is owed. Of course nothing happened so their next step is to get “Peek-A-Boo” removed from all streaming services.
No one has responded to the allegations from Yachty’s camp.
