Oroville bank robbery suspect identified, arrested
Oroville Police arrested the suspect they said held up the Chase Bank in Oroville Tuesday morning.
48-year-old Robert Badger, of Oroville, was identified shortly after the robbery when police learned the suspect was on parole and was assigned to wear a GPS ankle monitor.
Officers located the suspect by using the coordinates of his GPS ankle monitor where he was arrested in the parking lot of Motel 6.
He was booked into Butte County Jail.
Oroville Police are searching for a suspect they said robbed a bank in Oroville Tuesday morning.
According to Oroville investigators, the suspect seen here walked into the Chase Bank located at 2001 Oro Dam Boulevard.
Bank employees said the man walked up to a teller and handed them a note demanding money. Employees said he didn’t appear to have a weapon, and fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
