ATLANTA NATIVE BRINGS HOME MASTER CHEF JUNIOR!
This season’s winner of MasterChef Junior is from right here in our background. Milton’s own Jasmine Stewart who is only 12 years old and a sixth grader at Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta took home the MasterChef Junior trophy and a $100,000 grand prize. Stewart’s mantra is to “always dream big” and for young chefs, it does not get any bigger than Masterchef Jr. The show is a real culinary competition that gives talented kids between the ages of 8 and 13 the chance to show off their skills. The challenge-driven show is hosted by award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay and renowned pastry chef Christina Tosi. Jasmine and Justice stopped by Good Day Atlanta back in February to give us a sample of their skills. Jasmine is about to embark on a new chapter in her adventure as the winner of MasterChef Junior. When asked what she will do next with cooking, Stewart said she is ” inspired to create a food blog.” Keep a look out for Jasmine Stewart !
