Chris Brown just cant catch .
The singer was finally given a restraining order from ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, just as he was leaving his own birthday party at Houston’s Groove nightclub, TMZ reports. He turned 28 on Friday.
Multiple attempts had been made to serve Brown with the protective order following abuse accusations. Tran claims the volatile pop star threatened to kill her and several of her friends and punched her in the stomach twice several years ago.
Brown has a hearing set for later in May.
Reps for Brown did not immediately return a request for comment.
