A man from Northern China was arrested on his wedding day for fraud.
His wife’s family realized that the 200 guests he had invited were all paid actors. The wife’s family became suspicious during conversations with the groom when they all said were, “just friends.” Suspicion was also raised when the groom’s parents were never acknowledged.
In a interview for the local TV station, one of the guests said they were paid 80 yuan ($12 US$).
No info on why he did it and his girlfriend for 3 years didn’t suspect anything because they have a different circle of friends.
