After pleading guilty to 2 counts of health care fraud, he spent over $667,000 of Medicaid money for personal expenses. As the owner of the suburban Benchmark Nursing Home , he spent Medicaid funding on strippers, gambling, pets, and more.
Here’s the breakdown: Total $667,000
- $185,000 on adult entertainment
- $15,000 on pets
- $4,500 on casinos
- $12,000 at country clubs
60 residents have gone without food, water, and trash has been piling up. As a result, the nursing home was shut down due to unpaid bills, bounced checks, and lack of food deliveries. He’s currently looking at a potential 3 years in jail.
