DRAKE WILL HOST THE NBA AWARDS SHOW !
Drake will host the first ever NBA Awards Show on Mon., June 26. Drizzy himself made the announcement with a Twitter video.
The inaugural event will honor the best the NBA has to offer, giving out trophies for Kia’s NBA Most Valuable Player, Kia’s NBA Rookie of the Year, Kia’s NBA Sixth Man Award, Kia’s NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Kia’s NBA Most Improved Player and NBA Coach of the Year.
Additional fan-voted awards categories will also be included, and the finalists will be announced this Thurs., April 27, during TNT’s Inside the NBA – and social media awards.
Given Drizzy’s long-documented affinity for the NBA, this move makes a ton of sense–and he’s a natural. If you’re a Drake fan, you probably remember his entertaining turn hosting the ESPY Awards in 2014.
