KATT WILLIAMS’S POOL SUPPLY JUST TOOK A BIG HIT!!!
Katt Williams has been ordered to pay more than $86,000 in damages from a lawsuit filed by a pool supply employee. He claimed that Williams hit him in the face while he was recovering from brain surgery. Katt Williams came into Leslie’s Pool Supplies in Gainsville, GA in February 2016. Katt allegedly came to the sales counter with 30-35 items. When the attendant began ringing up the items, Katt left the store and returned a while later and claimed the cashier did not ring him up because he was “racist”.
“Mr. Williams flew into a rage, berating Mr. Love, punching him in the face, hurling merchandise at him, and interfering numerous times with Mr. Love’s attempts to call 911,” Love’s law firm said Wednesday.
The cashier had undergone brain surgery two months prior to the incident, according to his lawyers.
On Wednesday, Katt was ordered to pay $86K to the cashier to cover past medical bills, pain and suffering, intentional infliction of emotional distress, punitive charges and court costs.
