News on the STREETZ, the 90s classic “White Men Can’t Jump” is getting the reboot. The creator of “Black-ish” Kenya Barris is producing and writing a script for the revamp of the classic movie.
The overall film deal is with Fox.
Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin and Carolina Panthers baller Ryan Kalil are producing the film though their Mortal Media producing company.
The original “White Men Can’t Jump” starred Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes as basketball hustlers, who first oppose each other and then team up. The title comes from Woody Harrelson’s character’s inability to make a dunk shot.
