Find Out How 2 Chainz Made This Woman’s Day Just two weeks after 2 Chainz used some of the proceeds from his “Dabbin Santa” sweaters to financially assist a war veteran, the rapper continues to spread holiday cheer. This time, the 38-year-old and his TRU Foundation have stepped in to help a family from his hometown, Atlanta, Ga., after a fire destroyed all of their belongings.

Damien Walker, Tamifonika Jones, and their four children lost their property in a blaze that ripped through their southeast Atlanta home in September. Though each of them survived the fire, Jones and two of her children were placed in induced comas with burns while Antonio, the youngest of the bunch, suffered serious brain damage as a result of oxygen deprivation.

After hearing about their devastation, 2 Chainz decided to pay the family of six a visit and gift them with a brand new Honda minivan purposed to transport Antonio to and from physical therapy.

“You know y’all story it affected a lot of people. It got back to me and so I really been using God’s gift to me to really give back with not a lot of strings attached. They basically explained to me the situation with Antonio needing to get his physical therapy and things handled like that, so I just wanted to come and give y’all the free van so y’all can move around and make sure he’s straight,” he finished
