Just two months ago, Azealia Banks filed a formal battery report against Russel Crowe claiming that he choked on her, spat on her, and called her a racial slur before physically removing her from a dinner party in Los Angeles in his hotel room.
According to TMZ, the LA County D.A.’s office has opted not to charge Crow. The D.A. stated that Crowe’s actions “justified to prevent the imminent violence threatened by Banks” and described his spitting as “incidental to preventing more serious threatened violence.”
According to Russell Crowe and RZA, Banks questioned Crowe’s musical taste and called him and his friends “boring white men” before telling a woman in the room, “you would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat” – and that point is when Crowe picked up Banks and placed her in the hallway.
