STUDIES SHOW 6% INCREASE IN HATE CRIMES
Are we already getting a taste of what America will look like under president-elect Donald Trump’s reign?
In a new report, The Southern Poverty Law Center claims they have received 437 hate crimes across the country since Trump’s election last week. The SPLC says 250 of those cases were reported in the first two days which is what the organization normally accounts for in 6 months.
What’s even more alarming is that our national crime rate is currently decreasing, yet hate crimes have seen a 6% increase in the past year.
Is Trump to blame for this wave of prejudice and hate crimes?
