LIL YATCHY SAYS THAT SOULJA BOY USED BEEF AS A CRY FOR ATTENTION?
Lil Yachty tells 97.9 the Box “That was not a rap beef. I didn’t take that serious. He took it serious but nobody else took that serious,” he says. “I’d like to clear up the fact that that was not a beef. And it wasn’t fake. A lot of people thought it was a publicity stunt. I don’t need a publicity stunt, bro. I don’t even want to be in the public like that.”
Yachty also stated that he once thought Soulja Boy was the coolest person, and that he would have gone crazy if “it was somebody relevant” coming at him. As for whether or not he still speaks to India Love, Yachty provided a resounding yes. “That whole thing…everything he said was a lie,” he says. “He was just talking, it was just fake… old pictures from a year ago.”
Yachty says he doesn’t consider what happened with Soulja Boy to be beef since he never responded beyond a few tweets. The “Beef” seemed to have started over model India Love. In the video Yachty calls Soulja Boy’s actions a cry for attention and the whole drama stupid.
Looks like Lil Yachty is over the situation, and wants to be done with it.
