It’s no secret that 50 Cent and Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of his eldest son, Marquise, have a somewhat strained relationship. Shaniqua took to Instagram recently to throw a little shade at 50’s mentee Davian.
Fifty didn’t take her comment lightly and claps back with a comment of his own. Ouch!
Shaniqua has obviously taken offense to 50 embracing Davian, although not biologically linked, as his own. In case you’re out of the loop here’s a brief recap. In April of this year, 50 Cent introduced us to his “third son” Davian in an Instagram post “My life is full of surprises,” 50 wrote besides the photo. “This little guy is my son Davian. He started crying, I was thinking why you crying, I gotta pay for this sh*t. LMAO.”
It was later revealed During an interview with Indianapolis 96.3 FM’s Keisha Nicole, Fif revealed that ‘he is NOT the father, and that Davian is actually a huge fan that treats him the way he wishes his eldest son did… He also divulged that Davian has it hard and reminds him of himself growing up. Fifty disclosed his reasons for wanting to mentor Davian “He’s not my biological son, but I treat him as my son. I just met him and it was interesting because the way he looked at me and he’s shaking and crying. [It was] all the things I wish my actual older son was but we just don’t have that relationship, because when you pray for success, you don’t pray for jealously, envy or entitlement and those things come along with it. His mom’s entitlement has been filtered through him. So while being a privileged child, he still feels deprived.”
