Sevyn Streeter jersey gets her banned from opening game National Anthem, Street94.5 got the scoop hit the link…
Yesterday the NBA continued their opening season tip-off and a big marquee match up between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Philadelphia 76ers. Singer/songwriter Sevyn Streeter was set to sing the National Anthem but just minutes before she was canceled and replace. Why? All because a jersey she wore that displayed the words “We Matter”. She immediately went to twitter to explain the situation claiming the Sixers officials prohibited her to wear the jersey. In a 10- second tweet, the 30 year old R&B singers tells us why:
Was suppose to sing the anthem at @sixers & @okcthunder game but mins b4 @sixers said I couldn't because I was wearing a "We Matter" jersey pic.twitter.com/wjoJN3rq0r
