Pimp C died back in 2007, but the late rapper’s estate has recently become a hot topic. The hip-hop legend reportedly did not have a will, and the family is having a hard time figuring out who should be in charge. According to AllHipHop, a lawyer who is working with Pimp C’s son, Chad Butler Jr., filed court documents in Jefferson County, Texas, asking to be named the only executor of Pimp C’s estate.
Chad Jr. is less than satisfied with the way Chinara Butler, Pimp C’s wife, has been handling his late Father’s finances. She was managing Pimp C’s estate in 2008, but her position was taken away after rumors that she was mismanaging the estate’s assets and finances started circulating. Chinara allegedly mishandled $150,000 worth of jewelry and Fred Theobold became the temporary administrator.
However, Theobold resigned shortly after for unexplained reasons and Chinara became the sole executor again. Chad Jr. has had enough and wants to be in charge. He is claiming that the maintenance of the estate’s financial records has been a problem for several years, and that the estate is due thousands of dollars in revenue.
