The dynamic duo hip hop group of Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy aka Rae Sremmurd, just set records on the billboard charts with its reference to the legendary classic rock group’s name called “Black Beatles” featuring Gucci Mane.
Billboard.com just reported that the “Black Beatles” track became the highest charting Hot 100 title to name-check the group other than songs from the group itself. The track hit the top 40 of the Hot 100 chart largely by streaming as it jumped to the 20th position on the streaming songs chart with a 11 percent increase via streams. This track which was on the duo’s sophmore album “Sremm Life 2” has managed to surpass The Carefrees 1964 track “We Love You Beatles” which peaked at 39th position on the charts during the era of “Beatlemania”.
