Hit the link Streetz 945 got the scoopEven though he is going through some things like a $51 million dollar lawsuit, album being held back and contemplating retire, the rap superstar still finds a way to give back to his hometown of New Orleans. Back on August 27th Lil Wayne hosted his 2nd annual star-studded “Lil Weezyana” Festival. This concert featured artists like Migos, Mystikal, 2 Chainz and Yo Gotti. During the concert Lil Wayne and California based company OC Ramps featured a pop up skate park in Champion Square which was a hit with the fans and professional skaters like Dave Bachinsky, Jordan Hoffart, Tom Ryen and Christian Sereika.

The skate park was supposed to be broken down after the festival but Lil Wayne was feeling generous and wanting to donate the ramps and rails to another skate park in New Orleans called Parasite. The gesture shows Lil Wayne’s commitment to the local community, especially after his own Trukfit skate park in the Lower 9th Ward, which closed to the public in August of 2014.
