MTV IS BRINGING TRL BACK TONIGHT TO SPARK YOUNG VOTERS!
Tonight at 6 p.m. TRL is making a comeback on MTV for night only and Ty Dolla $ign is performing! The program is attempting to get young people to vote. Today is National Voter Registration Day and the event is taking place in hopes of raising awareness.
Ty Dolla $ign will be performing songs from Campaign, his newly released album, and there will be guest appearances by Vic Mensa and Camila Cabello of Fifth Harmony. Other celebrity guests such as Kendall Jenner and Mack Wilds are expected to be there as well. Mack Wilds appears with Natalia Dyer, who will also be at the event, in the Netflix series Stranger Things.
TRL will be airing tonight on MTV, MTV.com, MTV’s Facebook and YouTube pages, and on the MTV app. According to Billboard, the event will address several topics such as gender inequality, student debt, and racial inequality. Make sure you guys tune in!
