The Chicago-born hip hop star is said to have been filmed by security cameras in the Hollywood apartment of singer Tish Hyman running after the defenceless woman and unleashing a series of punches.
The cruel beating is eventually broken up by another man before the victim hurls her handbag at the man believed to be Dex.
The controversial musician appears to calmly walk away as if nothing has happened after the beating.
Songwriter Hyman posted the shocking footage on her Instagram page claiming that the troubled rapper also broke into her home and trashed the place.
She posted: “Let this man #famousdex @famousdex stay at my place.
“He not only TRASHED And BROKE INTO my place. He beat this poor girl so badly.
“Is this the new generation of great artists that young people are looking up to? And is THIS the type of person a great company like @puma #puma chose to represent their brand.
