US Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte has been placed on suspension for 10 months, stemming from the gas station robbery fabrication he made in Rio de Janeiro. According to CNN Lochte will not be allowed to participate in the 2017 world championship meet as a result.
The next time he will be eligible to compete in another world championship is summer 2019.
