The well-known actress and model, Essence Atkins, indicated big news to the public when she announced her marriage to someone she met on Match.com, Jaime Mendez, in 2008. The pair seemed to be doing great, and even had a child together. Earlier today however while co-hosting Hollywood Today Live, Essence Atkins announced that she filed for divorce. She stated that the reason being was because they just were no longer compatible.
