ATLANTA, GA — Metro Atlanta is packed with things to do this weekend, with concerts, festivals, food experiences, family activities and sporting events happening across the region Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16, 2026.

One of the weekend’s biggest outdoor attractions is the Piedmont Park Arts Festival, returning Saturday and Sunday with more than 250 artists and makers showcasing paintings, sculptures, jewelry, glasswork and other creations. Visitors can also enjoy food vendors, entertainment and activities for children.

Music fans have plenty of choices throughout the weekend. Masego brings his Fix Your Face Tour to the Coca-Cola Roxy on Saturday, August 15, blending jazz, R&B, soul and hip-hop. Will Downing, Jonathan Butler and Eric Darius will also take the stage Saturday for An Evening of Soul at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre.

Atlanta’s music community will also celebrate a major milestone Saturday when Criminal Records marks its 35th anniversary in Little Five Points. The free, all-ages block party is scheduled to feature 25 bands performing across three stages, along with local art and other anniversary activities.

For something with an international flavor, the Ivorian Expo Festival 2026 takes place Saturday in Norcross. The family-friendly event will highlight the culture of Côte d’Ivoire through food, fashion, music, art, live entertainment, shopping and entrepreneurship.

Food lovers can head to Taste of Trilith in Fayetteville on Saturday. The event runs from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and combines restaurant tastings with music, dancing and artisan experiences. The evening is scheduled to conclude with fireworks over Trilith Lake at 9:30 p.m.

Families looking for entertainment have options as well. The Wiggles bring their Tree of Wisdom Spectacular to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on Sunday, August 16, while the Georgia Aquarium will host Jekyll Island park rangers throughout the weekend for educational experiences focused on Georgia’s coastal wildlife and ecosystems.

Sports fans can close out the weekend with a major WNBA matchup as the Atlanta Dream face the Indiana Fever at State Farm Arena on Sunday, August 16.

Other weekend highlights include a free Aerosmith tribute concert at Lawrenceville Lawn, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder in Canton, The Tom Petty Show at Variety Playhouse, the Atlanta Blues Challenge in Woodstock, a free DIY rock show and food drive in Roswell, and several theater and arts experiences around Atlanta.

With events stretching from downtown Atlanta to Alpharetta, Norcross, Fayetteville, Mableton, Canton and Woodstock, residents have plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the city before the weekend is over.
