ATLANTA, GA — Voters in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District will soon head back to the polls as early voting begins for a special election runoff that will determine who represents the district in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Early voting begins in some counties on Saturday, August 15, ahead of Runoff Election Day on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Georgia’s 13th Congressional District includes Rockdale County and portions of Clayton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Henry and Newton counties.
Voting dates, hours and locations vary by county, so eligible voters should pay close attention to the schedule in their area.
Gwinnett County
Advance voting runs Saturday, August 15 through Friday, August 21 at three locations:
- Beauty P. Baldwin Building — 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200, Lawrenceville
- Gwinnett Community Resource Center at Bethany Church Road — 3025 Bethany Church Road, Snellville
- Lucky Shoals Park Community Recreation Center — 4651 Britt Road, Norcross
Voting hours are 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturday, August 15, with no voting Sunday. Polls will then be open 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Eligible Gwinnett voters may use any of the three locations.
DeKalb County
Advance voting will take place at the County Line-Ellenwood Library, 4331 River Road in Ellenwood, from August 15 through August 21.
Hours are 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturday, noon–5 p.m. Sunday, and 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Rockdale County
Rockdale County will offer early voting August 17–21 at the Rockdale Board of Elections Office, 1115 West Avenue SW in Conyers.
Voting will be available 8 a.m.–5 p.m. August 17–18 and 8 a.m.–7 p.m. August 19–21.
Newton County
Newton County voters can cast advance ballots Monday, August 17 through Friday, August 21 at the R.L. Cousins Community Center, 8134 Geiger Street NW in Covington.
The location will be open 8 a.m.–5 p.m. each day. County officials say there will be no advance voting at Turner Lake Recreation Center or Prospect Church at Oak Hill for this election.
Henry County
Early voting in Henry County will run August 17–21, with polls open 7 a.m.–7 p.m. daily at two Stockbridge locations:
- Merle Manders Conference Center — 111 Davis Road
- J.P. Moseley Recreation Center — 1041 Millers Mill Road
The special runoff will conclude on Tuesday, August 25, when voters make their final choice for who will represent Georgia’s 13th Congressional District in Congress.
